Summary

The manufacturing software project manager's role is to carry out implementation and modification projects for PCI customers. He/she independently manages all phases of the project lifecycle, from evaluation to closure, and is familiar with manufacturing software. He operates in hybrid mode, combining external scheduling with internal agile methodology.


Roles and responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Project Manager to join our team.

You will be responsible for the complete management of a variety of projects, from assessment to closure, ensuring compliance with the processes and methods established by the PMO.

o Assessment: You will work closely with customers, stakeholders and business analysts to define precise requirements. You will prepare service offers, in coordination with the technical and sales teams, while ensuring that these meet expectations in technical, scheduling and budgetary terms.

o Launch : You will set up a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with the discipline leaders. You will be responsible for defining the project plan, including schedule, scope, budget and quality management plan. You will analyze stakeholders and develop an appropriate communication plan, while leading the project kick-off meeting.

o Execution: You will organize and participate in sprint planning sessions, as well as follow-up meetings (Scrum stand-up) with the internal team and external stakeholders. You will monitor the budget and the evolution of risks, while ensuring that the external schedule and backlog prioritization are aligned. You will document meetings, decisions and issues, and be responsible for coordinating purchases and approving timesheets.

o Closure: At the end of projects, you will conduct the “Post mortem” to identify and pass on lessons learned to the relevant departments. You will also coordinate the administrative closure and archiving of project documents.

At all times, you will be your customers' key contact, ensuring quality after-sales service and identifying new project opportunities. You will regularly inform the account manager of the progress and challenges associated with each customer, while proactively reporting any problems to your manager.

Qualifications

The position requires the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience ;
- At least 10 years experience,
o At least 5 years experience in manufacturing software such as MES, MOM, WMS & ERP, etc.
o At least 7 years experience in project management.
- Project experience within a matrix organization.
- Project management certification or training an asset.
- Agility certification or training an asset.
- Leadership, initiative, sound judgment, rigor and excellent organizational skills;
- Demonstrate interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, based on respect, diplomacy, discernment and a solution-oriented approach.

Specific requirements

The position requires the following:
- Advanced written and spoken English and French;
- Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
