JOB DESCRIPTION

PCI is looking for an MES programmer to join its support team for a major project.

The MES programmer will contribute to the troubleshooting of the production systems, the analysis of the root causes and their solutions.

You will participate in the design, evaluation and proposal of solutions based on the customer’s needs and problems encountered at the different customer sites.

CONDITIONS

Shifts are twelve hours. The work schedule is planned over 4 weeks, 2 weeks of day followed by 2 weeks of night, following a schedule 2-2, 3-2, 2-3, which looks like this:

  • 3 days off


We are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate to join our PCI Response team. You must be creative to find functional solutions and have a passion for learning new technologies. 

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

The chosen candidate will have the following knowledge:

• SQL programming language;
• Object-oriented programming with the following languages: C #, VB, .Net;
• Microsoft Excel and macros;
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and SCADA – an advantage;
• GE Proficy suite (Historian, Workflow, Plant Applications) – an advantage
• Ideally, the candidate has been previously exposed to ERP systems;
• Bilingualism (French – English);
• Telework for nights and weekends.

The role may involve some travel, so a driver’s license and a passport will be required.
